Slate is a small game. If you choose to put your score on the leaderboard, here is exactly what happens to your data — in plain language.
Only what you type into the form: a username, your name, school email, and school, along with your game score. We don't use cookies, trackers, or analytics, and we don't collect anything in the background.
To show the leaderboard. Only your username, school, and score are shown publicly. Your name and email are never shown to anyone — they're kept to verify you're a real person, to keep one best score per player, and to reach you. We don't sell your data.
By submitting your score with your email, you consent to being added to the Slate database, a recruiting platform. This means we may keep your details on file and reach out to you about recruiting opportunities. Submitting is entirely optional — if you don't want this, simply don't enter your email. You can withdraw anytime by requesting removal (see below).
In a private database (Vercel Postgres). Submitting is optional — you can play the whole game without entering anything.
Email cre8or8@gmail.com from the address you used and we'll delete your entry.
